Core Functions and Structural Characteristics of Automatic Transmission Drive Discs

Release Time: 2025-05-12 14:12:29

The automatic transmission drive disk is a key transmission component connecting the engine and the transmission, mainly undertaking three major functions:

1. power transmission: rigidly connected to the torque converter through the spline structure, transmitting engine torque.

2. Damping buffer: the built-in damping spring group can reduce the vibration caused by speed fluctuation (measured damping efficiency >65%).

3. Signal triggering: some models have integrated speed signaling rings in the drive plate to provide input shaft speed data for the TCU.

Mainstream products are made of high-strength ductile iron (QT700-2) or forged steel, with nitriding treatment on the surface to improve abrasion resistance, and can withstand 800-1200Nm dynamic torque.
